Why does your packaging say Victoria if you're based in SA?
We are South Australian based, but we make these scrubs at our home, and we don't want customers coming up to our house telling us how good our scrubs are.
So we use a mailing address in Victoria.
Where does your coffee grounds come from?
Our grounds come from a partnered local cafe in South Australia, where we collect the grounds, from the coffee beans they use to make drinks!
Can you use the full body scrub on your face?
Yes you can! It just depends how sensitive your skin is, and usually your face will also be more sensitive then your body.
Everyone's skin is different, so we recommend doing a patch test first!
Should I use body wash first or the scrub first?
For the full benefits of exfoliating, we always recommend washing your body first to get the surface impurities off. Then exfoliate, to get a better and even exfoliation!
Is it rough? My skin is on the sensitive side.
Unlike other coffee scrubs that just grind up the beans, which makes it usually rough, we get the grounds from the coffee.
So you're left with only the gentle parts. The brown sugar in the formula also helps soften the scrub feel significantly compared to a straight coffee scrub. Use gentle pressure you don't need to scrub hard for this to work. If you have super sensitive skin or react to essential oils, patch test first and start at once a week before building up.
Why is it more expensive than a basic supermarket scrub?
Because it's not a basic supermarket scrub. Every ingredient is 100% natural that uses premium ingredients, and is traceable. It's made in small batches in Australia with a proper natural cosmetic-grade preservation system, not a product engineered to sit on a shelf for three plus years. You're also getting a scrub formulated to both exfoliate and leave skin conditioned after. You'll feel the difference in the first use.
Will it block my drain?
No, because unlike most coffee scrubs that use coconut oil which hardens up, we use jojoba oil. A safer option for the drain but also better for the skin. However, it can contribute if you're drain is already stuffy for example clogged hairs inside, and if that's the case we recommend using a drain catcher.
How fast is the delivery?
We use Aus Post, and so once your order is fulfilled (1-2 days), regular post in metro areas should take 2-6 business days!

Do you ship internationally?
Sadly, only within Australia at the moment. But hopefully soon!
